Bright New Day picked by sogospelnews.com staff

Three members of the sogospelnews.com staff picked the new CD from Hope's Call in their Top Five CDs for the Year 2003. The album, Bright New Day, is the group's debut album for Belmont Music group. Hope's Call, a dynamic trio from Woodhaven, MI, consists of talented vocalist and gifted songwriter, Donna Beauvais, joined by her daughter Jessica Beauvais-Harrison and Jessica's husband, Eddie Harrison.

James Hale commented, "This is a very positive and upbeat recording intertwined with some very heartfelt ballads. They have a very crisp, clean sound and I really enjoy their music. This is one of those CDs I love to listen to while driving down the road. Definitely a top 5 pick for me."

Amy Marie Unthank had this to say: "Another new group on the scene but amazing vocals. These guys have got some talent. Great song selection and vocals could not have been any better!"

Chris Unthank said, "What do you get when you put together three of the most underrated singers in SG today? Hope's Call. They've got one of the tightest sounds I've ever heard, from any genre, and they could easily rival the likes of The Martins as the tightest family harmony currently in SG. Look no further, the future of SG is in this group.

The CD also occupies the number 12 spot on the sogospelnews.com's Top 20 CDs for 2003.

Hope's Call scores Top 80 hit

Hope's Call has scored a Top 80 song only two months from its release date. "Keep On Keepin' On" hit the Singing News Top 80 chart for November. Marty Funderburk and Daryl Williams penned the song which has DJs and fans excited about this group from Woodhaven, Mich. Brian McDowell of WZOT in Rockmart, Ga., and Becky Sisk of KZIG in Cave City, Ark., said, "The phones are ringing off the hook for this one!"

This is the second Top 80 song for Hope's Call, which consists of talented vocalist and gifted songwriter, Donna Beauvais, joined by Jessica Beauvais and Eddie Harrison. The first Top 80 was Rebecca Peck's "No Trouble At All."

Chris Chubb from WTSG, Carlinville, Ill., commented, "Hope's Call is the total package. Every song from their new Belmont Music Group project could be a single!" If the current response is any indication, this one should be their first Top 40 song.

Hope's Call also created quite a stir at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville in early September of this year. Songwriter and Southern Gospel commentator Pamela Furr had this to say about the group: "Everyone is talking about this new group from Michigan. Their new record is on the Belmont Music Group label and was produced by Kevin Ward and Kevin Stokes. Paid In Full on NQC main stage

On Monday night of this year's National Quartet Convention, the audience had a special treat. The dynamic male trio from New Albany, Miss., Paid In Full, gave an appearance during the "All Quartet Night." "What an honor to sing on that stage," said group member Lance Moore. Paid in Full, comprised of Lance Moore, Bradley Littlejohn and Jeff Crews, was the only trio to sing on Quartet Night.

Jeff said it all on stage that night: "We don't know why we're a trio on quartet night, but we don't care! It's a thrill to be here anytime!"

The group sang several selections from their latest Belmont Music Group CD, Everyday is a Testimony, including their current hit single "My Father's House." Bradley said, "'My Father's House' has been a crowd favorite at our concerts since we began performing this song last October. It is truly a moving song that ministers to audiences in all walks of life. It's a story of the prodigal son, with whom we can all identify if we know the grace and love of our Heavenly Father."

"My Father's House" debuted at number 48 on the November Singing News Top 80 Chart according to Jeff O'Neal, owner of Heritage Communications radio promotions company. "That's the highest we have ever had a song to debut for Paid In Full," he said.

"I can't say enough about that song. I'm so glad that DJs are giving it a good listen. It's a very simple song with a very powerful message and we're thrilled that it is doing so well," said Lance.

Major Expansion Announced by Jeff O'Neal

For almost a decade, Jeff O'Neal has been at the forefront of Southern Gospel Music. He started an agency in 1993 that booked dates for Amy Lambert and other artists that were getting their start in the industry. Next came his entrance into radio promotions with the acquisition of Heritage Compilations; from which Heritage Communications was born. Heritage Communications is one of the most successful radio marketing companies in the industry, having promoted several # 1 songs for such artists as Tony Gore, The Wilburns, The Crabb Family, and 2001 Song Of The Year, "Four Days Late," by Karen Peck and New River. Add to that numerous Top 10, Top 20, Top 40 songs, and over 75 first time Top 80 songs for up and coming artists, and one can see that Heritage Communications has become an industry leader.

Jeff O'Neal continues his innovative marketing concepts with the formation of Belmont Music Group. "We believe that we can help even more artists expand their ministry with this new endeavor," he states. The purpose of Belmont Music Group is to help market artists to the point that they become appealing to major record companies and booking agencies. Belmont Music Group will be using the facilities of Heritage Studios, an all digital recording studio capable of producing audio and video projects. Jeff shares, "We want to use our experience to help artists make the right decisions with song selection, project production, radio promotions and total artist marketing."
